Description: Industry TypeManagement Consulting (Mining) Location - NagpurFunctional Area - Natural Resources & Energy Sector (Execution of Projects) Role - Management Trainee (Initial 6 Months) Assistant Manager (After 6 Months) Minimum Qualifications - Degree in Mining EngineeringMinimum Experience - 0 - 3 Years in Field in Coal Mining Operations desirableDesirable Working Knowledge of Mine Planning & Scheduling Software like MINEX / DATAMINE / VULCAN etc. Bid management, Financial Modeling and Technical Advices.SalaryAt par with industry standards (Negotiable for Experienced Candidates) Key Responsibilities: Assist Mining Team in various Consultancy / Transaction Advisory assignments.Assist the team in evaluation of various Techno-commercial options in terms of Mining Methodology & Equipment Configuration, Estimation of CAPEX & OPEX for various Opencast and Underground Projects etc.Assist in preparation of Mine Plan, DPR & taking other pre developmental clearances.Shall have to undertake extensive Data-search related to latest developments in the Mining and Natural Resources sectors (both on National & International fronts) Shall be responsible in identifying new opportunities for growth and diversificationEligibility: Experience in Mechanized Underground / Opencast Coal MiningExperience of Financial Modeling for Coal & Energy related projectsShould be able to demonstrate expertise in the quantitative and analytical practices related to the Natural Resources & Energy sector and should be able to undertake detailed cost and financial analysis for Natural Resources & Energy sectorShould be able to undertake detailed cost and financial analysis for green field & brown field Mining Projects & development of Financial Models.Should be able to demonstrate team spirit while working with a diverse team of professionals.Should be conversant with preparation of Feasibility Report / Detailed Project Report / Tender documents etc.Desired Profile: Bachelors / Masters Degree from a leading university in Mining Engineering. MBA will be an added advantage.Previous coal mining experience is desirable, preferably in Private Sector Corporates.Working Knowledge of Mine Planning & Scheduling Softwares like MINEX / DATAMINE / VULCAN etc. will be desirable.Prior experience of working in Management Consulting is desirable.Should have knowledge of Underground and Opencast Coal mining Technologies.Good Costing & Financial analysis skills pertaining to the sector.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity would be an important criteriaAbility to comfortably interact with clients in a professional and mature mannerComfort in and commitment to strong teamwork environmentOutstanding ethics, integrity and judgmentStrong intellectual curiosityHighly organized, detail oriented and proactiveSound working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is desirable.Willingness to travel at short notice is a mustShould have worked in Power & Coal sectorKRA Key Responsibilities: Assist Mining Team in various Consultancy / Transaction Advisory assignments.
