Job Description

    Capable of original and cutting-edge designs in Precision motion equipment by leading a team of young, dynamic engineers.Lead a team of Design and Production engineers and create a world class manufacturing facility which will produce Made in India machines.Align and set individual career development / team goals to meet the Year on Year growth plans of the organization.Guide and coach the team towards talent management & handling Training & Development functions.Conceptualize and implement best practices across Design, Purchase and Production functions.Familiarity in the design of Robotic Material handling, Pick and Place cells, Packaging, Pharmaceutical Machinery will be added advantageResponsibilitiesResponsible for Design Department output in terms of quality and quantity.Responsible for the use of the latest Design and Analytical tools.Ensure that creativity and innovation are the keywords in DesignDesigns must be competitive in the market so that we can match. the best products in the world interms of quality and price.Production Layout and throughput must be conforming to the best practices in the world.Implement and operate meaningful dashboards for the Directors through SAPPreparing annual cost budgets for the company.Ensure that expenses (capital and revenue) expenses are within budget.Periodical meetings with engineers on performance.Ensure customer satisfaction through direct contact/ personal calls, feedback forms incollaboration with marketing department.To upgrade soft skills of all personnel in the departments through personal & collective training.Training new joinees on Design, Production and Purchase skillsTo conduct penultimate round of interview for all potential recruits.Assist in achieving employee satisfaction and motivation for higher levels of performance &controlling attrition.Preparing of Roles & responsibilities for all design team members reporting to you.Overall cost control.Help all departments to achieve ISO quality objectives.To ensure the Machine Manufacturing Divisions profitability.Regular meetings with Directors on all above areas plus other areas and making necessarychanges as per Management requirements.SAP Maintenance & Support to teamDESIRED PROFILERelevant experience in Machine design & development of industrialExcellent oral and written communication skills.Deep knowledge and experience in design and detailing of medium to large size special purpose machines. Needs to have good understanding of mechanisms and integration of components and sub system.Should be expert with manufacturing drawings of parts, assembly drawings, part lists and basic engineering calculations.Needs to have specific experience in design and detailing of medium to large size special purpose machines.
