Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for performing daily system administration/assigned system related tasks.
  • This is a technical position that requires strong customer service skills and the flexibility and drive to perform in an intense working environment.
  • Successful candidate must be able to follow standard procedures when troubleshooting in a complex network environment.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Assembling PC s and troubleshooting of hardware issues
  • Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of network printers
  • Trouble shooting connectivity issues (VPNs)
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, user rights, account policies, security policies and also performed software and hardware maintenance, administering using Group policy, maintaining windows servers
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting of Active Directory server
  • Creating Profiles to users for customizing desktop settings
  • Managing disk quotas and maintaining user rights and permissions
  • Installation of latest patches and hot fixes on the operating system
  • Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of MS outlook and mail server related issues
  • Installing and configuring of different Antivirus packages
  • Installing windows operating systems, software
  • Sharing files and printers within the network
  • Troubleshooting FTP transfer issues
  • Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of HP, IBM, Acer and Dell desktops and Laptops
  • Coordinate with the vendors for any hardware, network and security issues
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting of LAN and WAN connectivity
  • Daily taking backup by using Symantec backup software
QualificationsEducation:
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent
Experience:
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
Additional Skills:
  • PC assembling, OS installation, Software installation, system maintenance
  • Typically requires bachelors degree or equivalent, and one to two years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication, written and oral skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
