Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Production Management:
      • Plan, organize, and supervise the production activities to ensure efficient workflow.
      • Meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining high product quality.
      • Develop and implement production schedules, optimize labor and resources, and minimize downtime.
      • Ensure that all manufacturing processes adhere to safety, health, and environmental regulations.
    • Team Leadership:
      • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of production supervisors, operators, and technicians.
      • Oversee the hiring, training, and development of factory staff.
      • Promote a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement.
    • Operational Efficiency:
      • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, cost, and efficiency.
      • Identify areas for improvement in the production process and implement changes to increase productivity and reduce waste.
      • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is properly maintained and downtime is minimized.
    • Quality Control:
      • Ensure that products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
      • Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures to prevent defects and reduce rework.
    • Budget & Cost Control:
      • Manage the factory budget and control production costs.
      • Monitor raw material usage, labor costs, and overheads to ensure cost-effectiveness.
      • Work with the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-efficient sourcing of materials.
    • Health & Safety:
      • Enforce strict adherence to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
      • Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
    • Reporting & Communication:
      • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on production progress, challenges, and achievements.
      • Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, procurement, and quality control, to ensure seamless operations.
