In Australia, JPMorgan is one of the few fully integrated investment banks with leadership positions across mergers and acquisitions, debt capital markets, derivatives, equities, equity capital markets, and treasury and securities services.Reporting to: Senior Associate / Data Base ManagerResponsibilities:Assisting front office Junior and Senior Global Equity AnalystsUnderstanding of Financial Statements (I/S, C/F and B/S) Linking analyst Equity Models to sector specific financial uploader sheetTrouble shooting issues in the Financial Database and ensuring all models are linked and appropriately displayed Manage Equity database and build Equity Research related products (Consensus / Sector / Interactive Models)Should be able to build Relative valuation files for different sectors (Banks, Insurance, Consumer etc)Financial modelling and knowledge about different valuation methodology (DCF/SOTP) would be an added advantageWriting Industry and company research reports would be value addedQualifications:Post graduate degree preferably or MBA in finance / CFA would be an added advantage 2-3 years of experience in Equity Research and financial modellingAdvanced Excel and Intermediate VBA knowledge / Financial Database Management would be desiredGood communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work as team player and to develop alternative solutions to complex problemsDetail oriented with strong organization skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlinesWilling to work flexible hours supporting a global time zone
