Job purpose Catapult, an Accelya group company is starting a new operation center in Mumbai. Catapult provide end to end solutions for the international shipment lifecycle. To set up its operation, Catapult is currently looking for Contract analyst in charge of the shipping contract analysis for Catapults clients and process the data into Catapults application. Duties and responsibilities Analyses and maintains competitive Freight Rates (Air, Ocean, and Ground) including Surcharges to determine the most Economical modes of moving goods from point A to point B. Manually enter texts or numerical data into databases and spreadsheets usually uses Excel or any Word processing programs and, also input new add-on charges to the base rates and try to make sure additional charges and database are correctly in the template. Carries out the functions of organizing, analyzing and maintaining accuracy of data by auditing in the web based interface (Catapult QMS) to enhance operation efficiency; Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes; Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping Information confidential; Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed and/or assigned. Skills and Experience Qualifications Graduated preferably in mathematics, commerce or business administration. Skills : Proficiency in Excel Analytical Skills Good English communication, Reading and comprehension Knowledge of International trade, shipping and logistics. Rate/tender management experience will be added advantage Experience Freshers (On the Job training will be provided) Competencies Analytical thinking Accurate Attention to details Working conditions Shift from 9 AM to 6 PM from Monday to Friday
