Working on site, this role includes existing and prospective client projects, as well as developing prototypes and helping steer internal projects. Working within multi-disciplinary teams, inter-personal and effective communication skills are essential. Technical proficiency required in: Core front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript Accessibility experience working towards WCAG 2.0 Setting up Linux web servers (Wamp/ Xamp) Developing HTML templates with CMS integration in mind. Object-Oriented jQuery plugins GitHub version control software Back-end technologies such as PHP, WordPress, MySQL, to help with maintenance of existing projects Some of these supporting technologies and frameworks: LESS / SASS CSS, gruntjs, recess, JSHint. Non-technical requirements: Excellent communication skills for conveying requirements to other developers and updating progress to clients Support teams to: o advise on the technical feasibility of IA and UX solutions o help with the delivery of proposals / prototypes Strong documentation skills to support template development and CMS integration Its great if you have: Evidence of self-initiated projects big or small, triumphs or failures that are available online.
