Job Description

Role Overview

Manage the Traditional Trade and Supply Chain Finance portfolio for India in close partnership with Trade Sales Specialists, Global Treasury Services (GTS) Sales Officers, Global Corp Investment Banking client managers in Asia and US and other business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead solution design and product customization to meet clients needs. Ensure new solutions are developed in accordance with the Bank s risk framework and generates appropriate returns andor cross-sell as to deliver responsible growth to the business.
  • Responsible for identifying and solicit potential Asian Corporate, US Commercial Banking and Multi-National clients in Asia for new opportunities through a combination of market expertise and strong collaboration with GTS Sales and coverage teams.
  • Responsible for product development by extending and expanding Trade Product capabilities for targeted client segments aligning with GTS strategies.
  • Drive strategic priority trade initiatives in accordance to firm wide strategies
  • Act as Global Trade and Supply Chain Solutions (servicing, financing and outsourcing) Champion in their respective locationmarkets, working with regional Product Management, Risk and Support Partners.
  • Supervise activities of other business partners and sales specialists during client on-boarding and implementation
  • Manage and On-going monitor relevant performance and risk metrics for the respective locationmarkets including and not limited to WARR, asset, spreads analysis.
  • Apply appropriate levels of control within the area of Risk, Compliance, Finance, Legal, HR and Audit. Support audits, self-identified issues and End to End Risk Framework assessments.

Key Requirements

  • A university degree
  • Min 5-7 years experience in product development with in-depth knowledge of Trade Services, Supply Chain Finance solutions and Trade Finance products for Corporate.
  • Desired Skills

    • Good understanding of SWIFT for Corp, EDI, channel solutions and FinTech initiatives driven by governments in the respective locationmarkets.
    • Working knowledge in Treasurycash Management andor credit analysis.
    • Experience with supporting Global, US and regional MNC clients.
    • Familiar with social, economic and regulatory environments of the respective locationmarkets.
    • Experience in coordinating marketing events.
    • Strong PC skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • Fluency in English. An advantage with other Asia languages such as Mandarin.
