The system supports feeding trade/order executions, including both exchange traded trades and bilateral over-the-counter trades into Morgan Stanley commodities trading systems in real-time, managing the lifecycle of derivatives from order creation to trade executions and post execution management throughout lifecycle events management such as pricing, rate set, price locking, amount overridden, listed trades pairing, expiry, takedown, novation, option exercise, financial settlement, physical delivery process and etc. The Trade Lifecycle management system covers multiple commodities business lines including Oil liquids, Natural Gas, Electricity, Metals, Agricultures and Index etc. In terms of the trade types, it handles lifecycle for futures, swaps, basis swaps, various Options, OTC derivatives, exotic trades and physical forwards trades. There are constantly new requirements for changes in Trade Lifecycle systems in order to enable the new business, meet the demands for regulatory demands, address the IT infrastructure upgrade requested from external parties such as exchanges and etc. Therefore this is a good opportunity to learn commodities trading business at global scale, understand data model of various trade types and corresponding lifecycle management etc. More importantly, in addition to system development itself, we are expecting the candidate to build a local development team and lead the team to collaborate the global commodities teams in other regions and complete the projects with high quality, therefore it will be a great opportunity for the candidates to develop his team management skill, project management skill and so on along building up the local team. The candidate will also be required to be involved actively in campus hiring, identifying the talents and attracting them to the team. We are also expecting the candidate to be a role model and culture carrier for the local team., *QualificationsSkills Required- Strong software engineering, analytical and problem solving skills - Hands-on coding in Java multi-threaded applications and distributed systems- Excellent written and communication skills- Interest in learning the financial knowledge, particularly about commodities trading.- Self-motivated, quick-learning and comfortable with working in a global team- Leadership and management skill with managing a local dev team Skills Desired- Experience in server side CORE-JAVA development with distributed caching- Micro-services with Spring boot- Good System Design and Architecture Skills- Comfortable dealing with ambiguities and working out technology solutions for the business
