• To manage and run a large-scale development organization for a particular business stream and executing sleuth of development initiatives to support the business verticals

Development

• Identifies reusable components in the system to optimize development
• Ensures the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is on track and that the code reviews and unit tests are completed to enable smooth module integration
• Ensures that technical development adheres to SCB standards and specifications.
• Ensures that the newly developed module has no regression impact to prevent negative impact to production

Testing:

• Ensures that all the necessary tests (eg. Unit Test and Systems Test) are conducted to meet entry criteria to start SIT and UAT
• Performs defect leakage analysis and takes necessary actions
• Based on SIT, UAT and other relevant test results, ensures that defect resolution and delivery of fixes to test environment are implemented in a timely manner
• Engages with other parties to ensure that they perform the relevant tests eg. Operations Acceptance Test (OAT), Security Acceptance Test (SAT) and Performance Test (PT) to enable production deployment

Implementation:

• Ensures the implementation plan, walk through and service support and various teams are in place to enable successful implementation
• Engages with the business to ensure that the users are in line to perform the User Verification Test
• Dress rehearsals are performed to finetune the installation guides and implementation steps

Support:

• Ensures that the project team and internal stakeholders (e.g. CTF, SCM) are engaged throughout the life cycle of the project in terms of technical delivery and implementation.
• Ensures that issues that surface during project implementation are resolved in a timely manner
• Ensures second level support is in place for the application during warranty period to smoothen the production support transition

People and Talent

• Leads a team of developers (including recruitment, motivating and coaching employees to deliver goals)

Our Ideal Candidate

• Essential: Graduate qualifications
• Desired: Professional qualification, - BE/ME or Any postgraduate degree with computer science background
• Technical and Functional & Domain expertise in Wholesale / Consumer Banking.
• Experience in banking product development and processes would be required.
• Exposure to data migration and databases would be preferred.
