Job Description

IntroductionAs a System Administrator, you are responsible to Administer a storage environment of 300+ storage devices sucj as San & NAS ,Various storage products by IBM, EMC, Netapp, etc and provide technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.If you thrive in a dynamic, collaborative workplace, IBM provides an environment where you will be challenged and inspired every single day.   • Responsible to provide L2 level of support for EMC, IBM and EMC storage. Maintain storage uptime and capacity to customer
  • Maintain the target level of compliance
  • Monitoring of in-scope infrastructure
  • Analyze and resolve called out problems. Ensure integrity of supported environment
  • Actively and pre-emptively figure out possible faults and causes by the execution of pre-determined health and operational checks
  • Handle and resolve problems identified by sys admins or monitoring software. Work with change and problem management tools. Hardware /software fault detection and vendor liaison
  • Liaise with customer accounts as required. Investigate, identify and document proposals that will improve application recoverability
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Minimum 4+ years with core networking experience for atleast 3+ years in enterprise client network
  • Experience in f5, routing & switching skills- Strong experience at L2 level hands on in managing EMC ISILON, EMC VNX Series Storage, Dell EMC Unity, Dell MD series MD3800:- Experience on EMC Unified & NAS Storage box administration (5-7 year of experience):- hands on experience on EMC ISILON OneFS administration & troubleshooting, NAS share creation, NFS, SMB file share management, Disk Quota management, ISILON cluster management, Cluster failover & failback, DR drill, data replication from primary site to secondary site, SyncIQ, InsightIQ, EMC ESRS gateway knowledge are strongly recommended:- Experience in Brocade and CISCO fabric management
