Job Description

    Job description
    • Develop detailed weekly monthly supply plans by-product, article, and brand basisdemand estimations received from relevant stakeholders to procure the required level ofinventory and maintain the smooth operations of supply chain units
    • Develop long-term inventory plans for SCM units by taking into account the variousconsiderations such as catchment preferences, peak seasons, campaigns planned, markettrends, etc.
    • Identify the volume and type of inventory that need to be procured and up-stocked duringseasons, festivals, campaigns and recommend the same to the Head Supply InventoryPlanning
    • Constantly monitor the amount of inventory available across SCM units (buffer stock) toeffectively manage the utilization of the same and avoid over/under stocking
    • Leverage data through the use of the analytics dashboards, identify trends, and drawmeaningful insights that will help create robust short-term and long-term supply andinventory management plans for the SCM units
    • Study existing supply and inventory management processes in SCM units, analyze the rootcause of any issues identified and provide suggestions for improvement to enhanceoperational efficiency
    • Use current and historical shipment information, market trends and POS data to developdemand plans and execute inventory buys.
    • With internal sales and operations team to develop specific forecasts down to the sku-level, and anticipate changes which can impact planning
