• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements optimizing data protection solutions
• Define roadmaps on future data protection service capabilities
• Work with architects and other leads on service strategies across people, process and technology
• Develops, tracks and analyses actionable metrics to continuously improve data protection service
Processes
• Derive data protection service processes in-line with organisation standards and guidelines
• Document and publish service catalogues to provide transparency on the capabilities provided by the service with improved end user journey to access the services
• Must be able to execute strategic and tactical direction for DLP solutions offerings on Cloud
Risk Management
• Responsibilities relating to identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group by working with stakeholders like Risk & compliance team.
• Contribute to the Risk and Audit hygiene and governance for the function
Governance
• Review and validate mature operating model for the service along with other stakeholders in the team
• Work with internal and external auditors support auditing requirements
• Coordinate solution implementation, advisory, problem management, change control and incident response.

• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Other Responsibilities
• Manage DLP Infrastructure and ensure service availability
• Be able to expand existing DLP support capabilities, configuring technical rule sets, policies, and ensuring consistency across DLP platforms.
• Proactively assess DLP safeguards across the DLP tool suite to identify potential risks and perform trend analysis
• Accountability for DLP system upgrades and implementation testing of DLP solutions.
• Collaborate with IT Security and Risk team members as well as other functional and technical partners, leadership, vendors, and external parties to prepare and deliver appropriate and accurate metrics to direct supervisor in preparation for management review
• Ability to self-direct and work independently when necessary, and clearly articulate technical concepts/ issues to both technical and non-technical peers and management
• Contribute to overall DLP process improvements and documentation
• Represent and contribute to the overall DLP solutions and methodologies
• Candidates must be able to perform system administration operation duties, which may require having a non-traditional working hours
• Should have strong experience in stakeholder management.
• Support daily BAU activities in resolving DLP issues, documenting & reporting as per business process
Our Ideal Candidate
• Minimum 5-8 years experience in Data protection & Cloud Security domains.
• Experience in any of the Data Leakage protection technologies.
• Strong technical knowledge and confidence in communicating with highly technical audiences.
• A developing knowledge of information security principles, frameworks and best practices and how those principles support the Groups Information & Cyber Security Strategy and Vision.
• Proven ability to map and understand complex relationships and interactions between Enterprise Architecture, business direction, emerging trends, emerging technologies, and legacy systems.
• Demonstrated relevant security expertise in designing security solutions for a mix of technology areas, with a focus on Data, Cloud and Applciation security.
• Demonstrated ability to develop expertise on the job and supporting security programs in a mix of technology areas including:
• Proposing Most Viable/Valued Features for the product or services that can be metered.
• Working knowledge on DLP, CASB products (specailly around Proxy Optimization, Shadow IT discovery, Encryption, Data discovery, Classification).
• Deep knowledge of Policy Management within the tooling.
• Knowledge on Symantec DLP/DLP Product, Azure, O365, IRM will be mandatory text.
• Scripting knowledge in python preferable
