    Software Engineer IIJob Locations IN-Navi MumbaiRequisition ID 2hidden_mobile8 Category Research & Development Whats the role Analyze, monitor and improve performance and quality of embedded automotive solutionsAdapt client code to evolving customer requirementsMaintain and increase code quality, while applying best engineering practicesSoftware Engineering - Design, Test and implement software systems that optimize all phases of data operations process and new solution designs Perform requirements analysis, understanding the business requirement and design and develop optimized and customized solutions for customerResearch and development - Be involved in research and development activities to understand and identify the solution requirements aligned to HERE s vision and business needsAnalyze completed prototype, pilot, and scaled projects to identify gaps to address further requirements or specification issues and communicate to relevant stakeholders Who are you 4+ years of experience with substantial experience in embedded solution development projectsShould have strong programming skills in C++ 11/14, SOLID software design principles and the following experience:Using efficient data structures (hash tables, priority queues, balanced trees etc.)Excellent collaborative skills as well as confidence in written and spoken EnglishAnalytical approach and problem-solving skillsExperience with CMake build systemExperience testing C++ code using Google Test Framework and Google MockDeep knowledge either on Linux or QNX, and optionally Android Open-Source Project (AOSP)Software optimizations skills at the System on a Chip (SoC) levelReal-time Operating Systems (RTOS)Experience in or ability to learn communication protocols. Relevant protocols to have at least an understanding of include I2C, Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI), USB, General-purpose input/output (GPIOs), Controller Area Network (CAN bus), Recommended Standard 232 (RS232), one-wire, Recommended Standard 485 (RS485)HERE is an equal opportunity employer.
