Job Description

We are looking for an exceptionally bright, well organized, and self-motivated Senior Transaction Manager Commercial Assets (Office Retail) to become part of our Mumbai, Advisory Transactions team here at CBRE.

  • As a Senior Transaction Manager at CBRE, you ll have the chance to:
  • Be responsible for key accounts, managing the client(s) real estate portfolio in India and the overall relationship.
  • The Resource will be dedicated to the client(s) RE functions.
  • The Resource will be the primary point of contact for the client and will drive holistic engagement and all levels of communication.
  • Leads and facilitates project initiation and scope definition, prioritization of assignments and adherence to client objectives and processes
  • Coordinates, identifies and mobilizes local teams on ground to engage with client stakeholders
  • Confirms fee arrangements and execute engagement letters (request for services document)
  • Drives transaction projects of varied nature that may involve lease renewal, relocation, consolidation, disposition, purchase etc. and ensures successful closeout
  • Familiar with strategy formulation, business case studies, drafting short and long-term plans, portfolio optimization, financial modelling etc.
  • Conducts weekly/monthly review meetings and calls with the client s steering committee, internal and external stakeholders, accountable for all key deliverables, submissions
  • Develops healthy relationship with all client divisions; involving but not limited to Business leadership, CRE, Legal, Finance, Project and Facilities Management, Audit, Admin etc.
  • Provide support to the client in drafting the Annual Operation Plan (AOP)
  • Ensure adherence to all Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) intrinsic to the client and maintains highest standards of ethics and compliance
What to Bring Along:
  • 6-10 years of real estate work experience
  • Graduate/ Post Graduate from Recognized University
  • Prior experience in Transaction and Account management roles
  • Demonstrates robust transaction knowledge; implements a solution driven approach
  • Strong negotiation skills, well versed with lease structuring, RE agreements, contracts etc.
  • Manages stakeholder expectations through the lifecycle from strategy formulation to execution
  • Sincere with work commitments, thorough attention to detail/deliverables
  • As an extension of the client s team, the resource should protect client s interest at all fronts
  • Excellent communication (verbal written) and interpersonal skills
