Senior Manager Fund Accounting We have been retained by our client, a well- established, professionally managed Asset Management Company to identify a Senior Manager Fund Accounting to be based at Mumbai. JOB PURPOSE: To generate, validate, compute and release NAV for clients while maintaining an accurate accounting record.To ensure that securities are properly valued in accordance with SEBI regulations.RESPONSIBILITIES: To supervise the custodian and fund accounts on daily basis.To handle settlement & accounting of equity trades, debt trades, future & option trades.Daily Cash flow preparation.Co- ordinate with Fund Manager for daily operations to ensure effective Cash Management.To ensure maintenance of proper books of Accounts of all schemes.To ensure accurate NAV in the specified timelines.To prepare Dividend Distribution accounts.To ensure proper and accurate finalization of scheme accounts.To co- ordinate with Auditors.To prepare various reports required by Compliance and Fund Management.To ensure valuation of securities is in compliance with SEBI regulations and fair accounting principles.To verify accuracy of reports and Trial balances sent by the Fund Accounting teams.To continuously monitor & evaluate the requirements of the Fund Management team.To assume responsibility for all fund accounting related activity. To establish clear operational objectives for the Fund Accounting team and communicate them effectively.To ensure a satisfactory internal control environment is maintained in order to address identified business risks.SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES: Positive attitude with result oriented approach.Interpersonal skills, teamwork.
