Job Description

Sales Enablement Team Global Delivery Services - Ernst & Young The Sales Enablement Team ( SET ) manages RFPs, RFIs and proposals for Legal Managed Services, Legal Function Consulting, and Legal Advisory teams at EY. We primarily support EY s Partners, Directors, Account Managers and other Business Leaders in preparing winning proposals, which in turn have a direct impact on our topline. The SET consists of three sub-functions bid management, knowledge management, and design. To be able to able to suppo rt our aggressive expansion plans across products, services and geographies, we are looking for a bid manager to join the team. Here are the details about the position and role-requirements: Bid Management

  • Work closely with EY leadership, Sales, and Delivery teams to provide presales and bid management support on existing/new business opportunities, across EY Law s products and services
  • Prepare a sound bid plan for the pursuit and ensure that the RFP/proposal is completed in line with client-driven and internal timelines
  • Set up and drive kick-off calls, deal-review calls and check-in calls during the lifecycle of an RFP
  • Populate response drafts with responses from past proposals [by leveraging the Qvidian proposal-automation tool]
  • Provide insights from the RFP, and web-based research [on client and competition] to help the leadership identify win theme and value propositions
  • Individually project-manage the preparation of the entire bid response - such as customized, strategically and visually enhanced sales proposals (RFP/RFI/DDQ/PQQ) and presentations
  • Prepare proposals on MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word as per EY s branding guidelines
  • Maintain accountability for final quality check on grammar, punctuation, regional-spelling preferences, active-passive voices and other mandates per EY s writing guidelines
  • Ensure timely delivery of all outgoing proposals along with accompanying attachments such as pricing sheets, case studies, CVS, cover letter, and sample reports.
  • Contribute to various aspects of bid response delivery approaches, solution, delivery differentiators, commercials
Knowledge Management Support
  • Support the knowledge management sub-function within SET by developing new content, redacting and curating past content and tagging it for upload onto the Qvidian proposal automation tool.
  • Maintain accurate bid management data on internal trackers and generate excel-based reports for leadership-reporting
  • Perform pitch-support and research activities such as, market & industry analysis, client intel, competitive analysis, in-house research, general web-based research, relationship-health analysis for existing clients revenue/ billing, team size, client feedback, margins, pains areas, challenges
Functional COMPETENCIES:Must have
  • Past hands-on experience in project-managing RFPs and RFIs as an independent bid manager
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Ability to organize and facilitate conference calls with senior leadership, while driving the bid agenda
  • Excellent knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel [incl. working with Pivot tables]
  • Experience of working with global stakeholders and supporting products and services in international markets
  • Excellent presentation skills for delivering web-based presentations to global stakeholders
Good to have
  • Knowledge of the legal process outsourcing industry
  • Working knowledge of MS SharePoint and Visio
  • Working knowledge of the Qvidian proposal automation tool
  • Ability to build understanding on product/solutions portfolio and its pricing mechanisms

QUALIFICATION and Experience:
  • 4-6 years of experience of individually managing large and complex RFPs and RFIs across teams and global locations
  • Project management experience will be viewed as an advantage
