• As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be a key member of our international and growing HERE SDK quality team. This is an experienced position that requires fluency in the latest versions of the Android and iOS and mobile testing. You are motivated to explore and deliver the best possible solutions to our customers with very high quality. You should have a strong passion for technology and a strong customer-centric product sense. You should enjoy working outside the comfort zone and love to learn new technologies.
• You and the team will develop testcases and test scenarios for the HERE SDK product. You maintain and execute these manual tests in an exploratory manner and regularly for the high frequent software releases for our different product variants. You run field-tests with our test applications on different hardware, platforms, and architectures. You will work close together with the software engineers to solve and verify quality issues you detect and report.You will have an eye on the performance and overall experience of our mobile SDKs. You will continuously work towards monitoring and improving the team s test infrastructure and come up with new and innovative solutions as and when required, Work will be done in a team with other engineers, designers and usability experts and in close collaboration with engineers of the location platform.
Who are you
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science orequivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of working experience in software testing
• Knowledge of software testing requirements and methods - testing process, principles, techniques
• Experience in application testing on Android, iOS and Linux
• Experience with deriving test cases from requirements and API documentation
• Experience with test case maintenance
• Experience with Issue tracking tools
• Strong communication skills
• Scripting experience (Python, Shell)
