Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:1. Implementation & optimization of a robust set of services and APIs to power the web and Mobile Applications2. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code3. Integration of data storage solutions viz. MemCache, Redis, and MongoDB4. Building reusable code and libraries for future use5. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers6. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems7. Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application8. Create database schemas that represent and support business processes9. Management of the hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changesSkills & Qualifications:1. 2-4 years of relevant work experience in Ruby on Rails2. Understanding of data and application security3. Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds4. Proficient understanding of git or any version management system5. Familiarity with development-aiding tools such as Bundler, Yarn, NPM etc6. Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as ERB, Jade, EJS, Jinja, etc7. Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests8. Experience with application deployment and understanding of CD/CI Pipelines
