Overview:
Responsibilities :
Overall lead for end-to-end recruitment initiatives and efforts in Mumbai office
Partner with Head of APAC Recruiting in regards to recruitment strategies and workforce planning with its development strategies
Lead a team of 3 Recruiters and to ensure the recruitment deliverables are timely and relevant
Drive and participate in ad hoc process improvement initiatives / improved solutions and other projects to improve results and increase productivity
Partner with HR, Compensation and Business Leaders on compensation structure recommendations including referral programs and other market competitive options
Partner with global recruitment team, business leaders and hiring managers to ensure quality and value-add of the function, as well as build rapport for systems and policies, vendor agreements, and best practices in candidate selection
Establishment and usage of direct sourcing tools (job boards, cv databases, access to social and business networking tools) to build a talent pool and source candidates in a cost effective manner
Ensure robust contractual terms with agencies. Conduct regular agency service and performance reviews
Build competent hiring and selection practices and training for hiring managers including review of all testing materials, integrating automated testing tools and background checks
Understand compensation structures and appropriately negotiate offers with candidates
Plan and set up and run career events, school recruiting events, and targeted advertising campaigns
Develop and maintain recruiting budgets, documentation, invoice approvals, reports and analytics
Ensure marketing and branding of programs are consistent and on point with the organization
Qualifications :
Graduate of Bachelors / Master s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Management, Commerce or other related discipline
Extensive hands-on recruitment experience in Banking, Financial Services or IT is ideal. At least 10 years or more of progressive experience in recruitment
With at least 3-5 years of people managing experience
Strong knowledge of regional recruitment practices in Mumbai, and other locations preferred
Prior experience with partnering on compensation structure, options and current trends for the region.
Fluency in English communication skills (reading, writing and speaking)
Expertise in TA systems including applicant tracking system, Workday preferred, and background check systems, text recruiting and testing tool administration.
Solid experience in managing and handling technical and volume recruitment, as well as difficult positions
Prior experience managing recruitment agencies and other vendors
Ability to research, source and screen candidates and provide support to local Recruiting team
Ability to provide market intelligence/ insights related to hiring
Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to work in a global, team environment
Strong collaboration skills in managing the team and various types of stakeholders
A driven, self-motivated and positive attitude with great listening skills
Passionate about delivering a high quality recruitment services and providing a signature candidate experience
