The role will involve working closely with Project Managers and Data Centre Assurance Manager on a day to day basis and supporting the team in delivering to high standards and on time. The officer will be expected to undertake a wide variety of tasks as detailed in the main responsibilities section.Overall Project/Task description or Main ResponsibilitiesService Take-on Support:Provide high quality administrative and project support to the PMs Project registration, governance and reviews.Provide project updates and report maintenance via Google sheets/Excel and other tracking tools as required.Carry out Project meeting administration including booking calls, meeting rooms, taking and circulating minutes.Work with the PMs to understand and assist with tracking key project activitiesSupport the development of project schedules and plans as per each project requirements.Provide support for Project Monitoring & Control which includes but not limited to Risk & Issues Management and Actions tracker management and follow-upsProvide support for project resources.Create and compile reports for fortnightly management presentation.Coordinate the running of critical assurance checkpoints(Stage Gates) for all projects.Undertake any other responsibilities that could be reasonably required.Data Centre Assurance Support:Have overall ownership of the Metered Licensing Services for providing the monthly outputs in a timely mannerBe fully conversant with the Microsoft SPLA, VSPP , Citrix CSP, MSDN and Storage license processesManage MSDN allocations of subscription licenses to staff.Responsible for issuing license keys (Microsoft MPSA , SPLA keys and Vmware license keys) when confirmations of orders are placed.Provide analysis on usage trends within the licensed products and DR requirementsOwnership of NPS s Data Centre Rack Plans, ensuring that it is kept up to date and that all the hardware has relevant support coverAssist with Procurement activities ( Organising quotes, raising PA s, approval follow-ups etc.)Maintain HW maintenance listMaintain accurate list of all Telco contracts/circuits, process new user mobile connection request/disconnectsHelp maintaining the Monthly Storage finance charge report.Qualification Criteria/Work ExperienceEssential:System implementationsManaged Service environmentsKnowledge of IT infrastructureData centre hosting platformsWindows Server OSWindows XP & 7, Office 2003 2010TechnologiesHands-onExperience (Years)PriorityWindows Servers1+2MS Office2+1Desirable:Public SectorLocal AuthoritiesITILChange ManagementTechnologiesHands-onExperience (Years)PriorityITIL2+2Personal Skills:Ability to work under pressure and meet high level of customer demandsExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent liaison skills for internal and external use.MethodicalAbility to work within constrained resources (time, budget and specification)Ability to work in a dynamic programme of projectsMulti-tasking and working with multiple deadlinesDynamicCalm under pressureManaging conflictAbility to motivate othersAdditional Information:,
