Job Description

    Dear Candidate,Greetings of the day!We are Hiring forPRODUCTION HEADRoles and ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership to departments under control. Coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performingteam that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions in Machine Shop. Set department objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance. Product R&D, Manufacturing Operation, Process Excellence and Quality Assurance. Deep knowledge of manufacturing and production processes and concepts. Creative with the ability to use modern technology in the production process. Develop and implement production processes for new products, product enhancements and product Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and in order toimplement change and improvements. Minimize overall production costs while maximizing productivity Maintain knowledge and technical expertise of current production best practices tools and techniques Ensure that the JMC - Production in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and proceduresto ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors. Motivate the employees for internal kaizens on cost reduction, safety, productivity Complete regular performance reviews, manage attendance, holidays, disciplinary issues and procedures asappropriate. Establish strategy and best practices for team to ensure achievement of overall Machine shop objectives. Achievement of production target: ensuring required production process and volume with no safety and qualityincidents. Safety management: helping to eliminate LTAs, coaching on risk assessment, maintaining 5S, helping to investigateincidents and sharing the learning. Schedule activities assigning operators to required production areas Inspecting the work flow of production teams to ensure that production targets, product quality and deliveryrequirements are met on a daily and weekly basis. Timely communicate the progress of production withproduction planning Assisting to incident investigation, confirming the root cause, taking preventive measures and following up Monitoring the production shift teams to maintain a safe and clean area Work closely with production planning to monitor the inventory requirements for production Work closely with the maintenance teams to minimise breakdowns and downtime Assist in recording the attendance of the operators helping HR to deal with attendance issuesFunctional requirements Industry: Electronics and telecom, e-commerce At least 2-year work experience as Production Manager Basic Excel & Word Good problem-solving ability Good communication, coordination, scheduling and directing skills Good team motivation and management abilityLeadership skills should be capable to function as a Manager in terms of onsite process and people management, withpresenting good organization, coordination and communication ability Education B.Tech / BE in Engineering with the relevantexperience of more than 10 years.Regards,HR Team
