A leading Construction Chemicals company is looking for Product Managers for various business lines in India. These will be PAN India roles responsible for driving the product management and marketing for the business.A Brief profile of the role is as follows :- The incumbent will be responsible for pricing, branding, communication of the value proposition, the right channel placement, promotion and activation of the product or the group in the market with the goal to optimize sales and create brand equity. - The job will involve building strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders like the customer, channel, vendors, manufacturing etc. to strategize and execute the go to market strategy for the product or the product group and lead the New Product Development process. The job role will require commercial mindset as well as understanding of the consumers wants and needs through thorough field market experience.Product Manager duties and responsibilities :- Research and analyze data and market insights- Search for insights into consumer needs and wants- Plan and implement long-term development strategies for product categories- Design exit strategies for unsuccessful products- Root cause analysis for product complaints and rectification- Channel play (placement, availability, schemes)- Strategize positioning of a product or category in order to maximize its visibility- Research competitors and suggest appropriate pricing and promotional activities based on own value proposition.- Work with customers distributors and dealers and find new ways of expanding product categories- Calculate forecasts for product demand trends- Manage and track budget- Launch New Products.- Lead market activations.Product Manager requirements :- Previous working experience as product manager for 2 - 4 years- Expertise in category management- In-depth knowledge of marketing and sales operations and processes- Hands on experience with analyzing big data and making forecasts- Analytical and critical thinker- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills- MBA,
