Responsibilities: The Associate will report into the Vice President of Marketing for Governance, Risk, Investigations and Disputes and will specialize in supporting one or more service lines within the larger business unit. The prospective candidate should have a minimum of 3 5 years of experience working in a business development, communications or marketing capacity in the professional services sector. Work with marketing leadership to develop and execute a targeted and trackable marketing plan that aligns to primary business goals, communicates brand differentiators and drives engagement and business revenue. Learn the market landscape and trends to effectively guide marketing activities. Proactively anticipate business needs and seamlessly fulfill responsibilities in matrixed environment. Partner effectively with functional marketers, including digital, communications and creative services to align, improve and execute marketing tactics. Help create and maintain marketing collateral through collaboration with client- facing, creative and communications teams. Manage conferences, sponsorships and hosted event logistics, including event communications, branding, collateral and other support activities. Project manage, copyedit and oversee publication of client newsletters, articles and reports. Develop compelling email and social media communications that drive action as part of multi- channel marketing campaigns. Leverage marketing automation tool to draft email communications and identify appropriate target audience. Take responsibility for gaining final business and marketing leadership approval for all communications. Draft press statements to announce business milestones. Coordinate internal review by business and marketing leadership. Ensure full alignment before distribution through the firm s and/ or external channels. Support SEO and paid search efforts that align to business and marketing plans. Partner effectively with digital marketing team to identify keywords and appropriate messaging to optimize search traffic and lead generation. Coordinate website updates with the digital marketing team using project management tools to track completion. Maintain the Governance, Risk, Investigations and Disputes budget, including invoice process, tracking and reconciliation. Requirements: 3- 5 years of marketing, communications or business development experience at a professional services firm, preferably in financial services. Superb written and oral communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Familiarity with marketing best practices across digital, print, media and other communications. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to excel in a matrix management environment under minimal supervision, while reporting results and conferring with superiors on unusual matters and seeking feedback as needed. Ability to be very hands on and comfortable taking direct responsibility for deliverables. Strong team player. Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
