Job Description

    Roles and ResponsibilitiesJob descriptionResponsible for following established procedures for PAN India Purchase & Procurement function by leading Team of Category Buyers formulating an approved vendors list encompassing all categories.CORE WORK ACTIVITIES1. Assists SCM Senior Management in maintaining/lower budgeted food/controllable costs.2. Functioning on Demand Planning for MTS (Make to Stock) & MTO (Make to Order) SKUs by monitoring Annual TIV and S&OP trend.3. Adroit in Forecast vs. Actual fulfilment Mechanism by sustaining SO ~ fill Ratio Precision.4. Managing Forecast vs. Actual vs. MTO/MTS Optimum Inventory by incorporating Inventory Policies for S&OP P&L Strategy.5. Managing Paid up Stock for Optimum Min-Max Inventory for ABC/FSN SKUs by Defined KPI.6. Manage Category Buyers in all aspects of purchasing (e.g., Food, Beverage and Consumables) to ensure quality and profitability.7. Process development for liquidation of Obsolete/Phased-Out Inventory before the new SKUs are handed over to S&OP.8. Functioning for Direct & In-Direct Strategic Procurement by developing SCM Budget as per Price vs. Landed Cost Statistics for Diversified Raw & Packing Material.9. Monitoring P2P & O2C functions by incorporating Purchase & Procurement Policies to Optimize Cash Flow within 300+ Supplier Pool.10. Raw & Packaging Material Requirement Plan & Monthly Rolling Forecast by Formulating Demand Forecast.11. Well versed in Strategic Sourcing & Procurement by Analyzing Supplier/Vendor Market Fluctuations.12. Suppliers Periodic Evaluation by Measuring Key Metrics & Supplier Yield for New Products Development.13. Supplier/Vendor Re-Order levels to ensure un-interrupted availability of Ingredients and concentrates as per BOM / Recipes.14. Define Inventory TAT for Primary & Secondary SKUs on MOQ/EOQ as per Local, Interstate & Global Suppliers Capacity.15. Assure Supply Quality & Risk Management in Co-Ordination with SQA & Production as per FSSAI Parameters.16. Identification of New Suppliers & Finalize ARC by strategic negotiation on cost rebate as per RFI, RFP & RFQ/adhoc tendering.17. Achieves and exceeds goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.18. Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.19. Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems. 20. Provide direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures, and efficient control and utilization of financial resources.CANDIDATE PROFILERelevant Experience : Minimum 12 years with Well Established, Process Oriented, Reputed FMCG Manufacturing Organizations.Qualification : Bachelors/Masters Degree in Commerce and MBA in Supply Chain / Material Management.IT Exposure : Well Versed in ERP/SAP, MS-Office packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Candidates from Mumbai .
