Job Description

Manager Corporate Operations We have been retained by our client, a foreign bank to identify a Manager Corporate Operations to be based at Mumbai. JOB PURPOSE : To make sure the processes and transactions are executed correctly, while minimizing risk and maximizing quality of services. To manage: a. Treasury operations b. Trade finance operations c. Loan operations d. Compliance KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Accountable for delivery, processes & controls in support of corporate operations desk which includes Trade Finance, Loans, Payments, Remittances, Treasury. Analyse data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money. Complete transactions efficiently, including proper documentation of all processes. Should possess knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements. Appraisal of the proposals from a lending perspective involving detailed analysis & projections of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Financial Ratios, Cash Flows along with evaluation of Management Risk, Industry Risk and Economic conditions. Assisting with tracking of financial reporting requirements, audit reports, covenant monitoring, spreading financial statements, preparing annual and quarterly reviews along with various approvals and screening memos. Financial modelling skills for appraisal of the viability of a project as well as financial restructuring. Updates on RBI reports and other relevant laws related to credit. To keep self and the team informed on the relevant regulatory, legal and compliance guidelines. Reporting of various MIS. DESIRED SKILLS : Strong writing, Excel and presentation skills. Highly reliable, flexible and self- reliant personality with good intercultural skills. Team Player. Excellent analytical and reporting skills. Eye for details. Multi Tasker Highly conversant with technology & operating processes. Strong communication skills both spoken as well as written. Strong analytical approach to problem solving. Should be detail conscious whilst maintaining strategic outlook. CANDIDATE PROFILE : Candidates should be Chartered Accountants or MBAs from reputed business schools with approximately 4- 6 years of relevant experience in a Trade, Corporate finance operations and experience of customer queries & complaint handling.
