Job Description

The ELT Development Group is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of a comprehensive application suite, to facilitate business needs including, but not limited to, the below functionalities:

  • Product Creation Trade Booking (Vanilla and Exotic Products)
  • Pricing using Derivatives Analytics library
  • On-demandEnd of Day Risk Computations
  • Scenario Valuations for Risk Reporting
  • PL calculations

Job Description

QA for a front-office application portfolio, ensuring smooth, timely, bug-free releases requirement analysis, test strategy and automation, non-prod environment management, devops, SDLCprocess management.

Functional area Risk PL Valuation Reference Data Market Data and Pricing Parameters.

The job provides exposure to internal workings of exotic derivative products traded by the firm, and analytical models for pricing, risk valuation and lifecycle management.

It also provides exposure to large, complex enterprise applications and an in-depth view of the end-to-end equity derivatives trading technology platform.

Responsibilities

  • Role involves engagement with stakeholders traders, middle office, quantitative analysts, compliance, risk managers etc. - to understand business problems, working on the solution with the development team, and testing and deployment.
  • It also entails troubleshooting and solving problems in live systems and ensuring smooth production operations.
  • Designing the test and deployment strategy for robustness, supportability, scalability and speed while providing solutions at a rapid pace in a complex business environment is a key challenge.
  • Lead application testing and delivery and be involved in the design and development phases, supporting the business with timely, robust, optimal solutions.
  • Ensure platform stability, security and compliance. Engage with stakeholders and quants. Manage application portfolio.
  • Coordinate with technology partners for technology upgrades and recovery exercises.

    • Requirements

    Education- B.E.B.TechM.S.M.Tech with good academic scores from top-tier colleges universities

    Certifications if any- NA

    Experience Range- 9 - 12 years

    Mandatory skills

    • Strong programming experience and acumen
    • Hands-on experience on test and deployment automation of complex enterprise applications
    • Hands-on experience on DevOps tools (CICD), test automation (TDDBDD)
    • Databases, SQL, UnixPython scripting, Excel VBA

      • Understanding of investment banking domain and equities equity derivatives trading Containers
      • Analytical skills, systematic problem-solving, detail orientation
      • Ability and willingness to learn and work on multiple tools
