Job Description

Position Purpose & Summary: This position is needed to further expand the commercial footprint of CSST India. The person needs to: Lead Sales & Business Development activities for Food markets in India. Liase /coordinate with the Tech Services Manager for potential New Business development . Manage & grow the Key Accounts across West India. Develop sales strategy for Business and uncovering new opportunities that match with our technology, products & vision for West India Principal Accountabilities: Manage CSST India s Key Accounts business across West India. - 60% Responsible for payment follow-ups and coordination as per the financial policies. - 20% Keep overview and report all commercial aspects such as total market / market share /price development /competition /product availability. - 5% Develop business cases for technical development of product platforms/applications develop concepts and value proposition to optimize cost in use. - 5% Support Tech. Services Manager in conceptualizing and conducting innovation workshops at customer R&D locations to trigger new projects. - 5% Competition tracking for New Products etc. - 5%, Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate/PG in Science, Food Technology, MBA or a combination
  • Minimum 10 Years in Starches & sweetener Industry or Food Ingredient or Flavours or Food Processing Industry or a combination
  • Strategic thinking and problem solving skills
  • Good written and spoken communication skills and fluency in English
  • Excellent people skills & capability to play as a significant contributor in diversified teams
  • Ability to work independently, to work effectively across functional lines, to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, to make consequential decisions that brings projects, investigations, and other activities to closure
  • Maturity to deal with start-up issues
  • Indepth knowledge of Products, Processes related to Food Industry, Food Ingredients
  • Coordination Skills
  • Presentation Skills
Other relevant information to the position:
  • Career Development: The role involves very close working with Customers, Tech Services, Manufacturing sites and Cargill s global SMEs and will proceed to become National Sales Manager Key Accounts.
  • This role will offer a very diverse/in-depth experience of handling a vast bouquet of Customers across various Food segments ; this also will offer great opportunity to enhance commercial & business skills.
  • Competencies: Customer focused ; should possess excellent coordination/communication & interpersonal skills ; must be analytical and should be able to plan well. Should be able to handle high pressure situations.
  • Extensive travel across country
