This role also involves end-to-end testing, web-based application testing, and potential Test Automation. Your prompt integration into our team is essential to support our projects effectively. Proficiency in manual and web-based application testing is mandatory, with familiarity in Jira Software and other software tools considered advantageous. • Qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer /IT Or MBA in IT (preferred)
• Job Location: Corporate Office at Marol, Andheri East Mumbai (Preferred candidate from Mumbai Only)
Key Responsibilities: As an Assistant Manager- QA - UAT in IT team, you will be responsible for:
1. Comprehensive Testing: Hands on expertise in Functional, Regression, Retesting, Security, and System testing.
2. Test Planning: Experience in Developing, writing and executing meticulous test plans and test cases.
3. Functional Testing: as a Software Tester is to perform Functional testing of software builds, defect reporting, and managing create/update/delete the Test cases / Scenarios.
4. Customer Support: Verifying cases reported by customers, promptly reporting bugs, and conducting testing on provided patches for bug resolution.
5. End-to-End Testing: Conducting end-to-end testing, including functionality, usability, and nonfunctional testing.
6. Web and App Testing: Showcasing proficiency in web-based application and website testing, as well as application testing. (Mandatory).
7. Collaboration: Collaborating efficiently with the development team to ensure timely and high-quality testing activities.
8. SQL Expertise: Utilizing your extensive experience in SQL query execution.
9. Change Management: Analyzing Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and facilitating knowledge transfer for Change Requests (CRs).
10. Documentation: Meticulously documenting scenarios and test cases, particularly for change requests or new applications. Preparing detailed reports on testing activities and effectively updating stakeholders.
Candidate Profile with Essential Requirements:
1. Educational Background: Bachelors degree/ Postgraduate Degree in Computer/IT Or MBA in IT (preferred),
2. Relevant Experience: Possess a Min 3-5 Years of substantial experience, demonstrating expertise in QA-UAT (User Acceptance Testing). Knowledge of Power market trading, congestion management is advantageous.
3. Proficiency in Manual testing is crucial; experience in exchanges or related fields is a bonus.
4. Mandatory expertise in web-based application testing, including both applications and websites.
5. Demonstrating proficiency in Test Automation is a plus
6. Familiarity with Jira Software is preferred, and proficiency in other software tools is considered a valuable asset.
