Job Description

    Job DescriptionAbout the role:We are looking for experienced Sales professionals with 12-15 years of hard core B2B IT and Hardware sales experience in the Higher Education segment in India. This is a critical role in helping us to drive our IT & hardware business success, youll acquire insights and deeply understand our users and the market and competitive landscape and positioning for our products and features. Youll also own the go-to-market planning, and sales enablement to drive demand, adoption and success of the product.You will have a comprehensive grasp of the entire sales cycle from initial business development through to the close of the sale is essential, and the demonstrable ability of Client Relationship Management.Responsibilities:
    • Achieve M-o-M, Q-o-Q, Y-o-Y Sales targets (Revenue & Booking)
    • Must have 12-15 years of IT Hardware sales experience in Education or other relevant sectors.
    • Success in this role will be measured by the impact of new sales revenue, cross sell & Upsell, renewal sales revenue, forecasting and the customer experience delivered.
    • End to End Sales pipeline expansion - lead generation, tele-calling, in-person visit, converting it to Prospect, deal closure, customer support and ensure customer delight.
    • Build customer relationships, establish trust among key stakeholders of Education Institutions in government, public and private sectors.
    • Manage a sales team, drive sales targets and goals, responsibility for the day to day activities of your team and meet your targets and those of the team as a whole
    • Training and development of the team, and performance management.
    • Good understanding of higher education segments, having excellent relationships with top leadership of government, public and private sector education institutions.
    • Create a sales plan to achieve overall business and sales target, leveraging market opportunities, learning from past sales results and reviewing progress and adjusting as needed.
    • Building effective relationships with customers and internal and external partners.
    • Identify and provide insights into sales and market trends.
    Requirements:
    • Domain knowledge of Hardware and software sales such as PC, Laptops and computer accessories and applications, including leading hardware and software components.
    • Fundamental knowledge of Higher Education sector and their hardware and IT requirement in India
    • Good to have - Google Education Products knowledge or similar products.
    • Must be organized salesperson with planning and executing capabilities, must know how to engage with higher education segments top leadership, accurate with sales forecasts, understanding business value, handles objections and leverages referrals to advantage
    • Existing expertise and relationship within the targeted Industry and Customers to accelerate penetration
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships inside and outside.
    • Excellent time management, organization and project prioritization skills.
    • Excellent Business intelligence skills.
    • Highly analytical and detail-oriented with strong report skills, including both standardized and ad hoc reporting.
    • Ability to manage a team and drive sales -individual and of all the team members.
    • Comfortable within a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
