Job Description

The Manager, Human Resources will provide HR business partner support within the Writing India organization. The incumbent will provide day to day HR partnership including employee relations, organizational design, employee metrics reporting, coaching and succession planning. He or she will be responsible for driving consistency in policies and best practices to support and encourage a productive workforce that meets both the business goals of the organization and personal needs of employees. This position is located in Mumbai India.

Job Duties:

  • Act as a business partner to employees and executives within the Writing India business, and drive organizational change through broad knowledge and understanding of the business.
  • Provide HR leadership and support growth initiatives through a time of significant transformation and growth within the business.
  • Support the India Writing business with local councils statutory authorities wherever applicable.
  • Support with Division / Regional HR HR CoE team to implement global / regional HR program or plan in India Writing division
  • Drive the performance management process to include annual and mid-year reviews, development planning, manager feedback, coaching and facilitation of performance management training where needed.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting HR metrics.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance improvement plans, conflict resolution and career development.
  • Drive continuous improvement of human resource functions (i.e. recruiting, compensation administration, policy administration, employee relations, organizational development, change management, etc.)
  • Support quarterly succession planning process across the organization.
  • Provide HR partnership on any additional Writing work streams.
  • Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree in human resources, businessor a related field
  • 7-9 years of experience as an HR professionalwith increasing levels of responsibility
  • Fluent in English language both oral andwritten
  • Proven leadership, coaching, relationshipbuilding and effective conflict resolution skills
  • Strong business acumen, communication andpresentation skills
  • The ability to effectively integrate into anexisting leadership team
  • Experience with change management
  • Planning Organizational skills
  • Must be proactive in nature with strongfollow-up skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be able to develop top talent in allfunctional areas
  • Demonstrated experience in project planning andmanagement
  • Must be willing to travel about 20%
