Role: Head Packaging Development Location: Mumbai Reporting to: Director , Partner Growth Team size: 25 to 30 Bizongo , signifying Business on the go is a one - stop platform addressing all packaging requirements in the B2B space. The Head Packaging Development role within Bizongo is uniquely positioned to focus upon category expertise , technical development and team leadership further enabling superior experience , efficiency , and innovation to clients. Key Deliverables from the role would be new product development , quality management systems , quality improvement , design interfacing , sustainability , and innovation. Key Responsibilities of the role would be to Continuously build , nurture & manage a large team of packaging professionals contributing to roles across multiple locations - coaching , mentoring & people development Lead development of new packaging materials based on client requirements: New product development and launches with different shapes , material structures , and pack formats Bring best in class project management practices for project tracking and management , alignment with team / stakeholders , resolving bottlenecks , managing internal & external expectations Develop and deploy best practices in quality management leveraging Bizongo technology to create strong industry differentiation - specifications , drawings , test methods , COAs , quality protocols , audit standards , partner capability assessment , quality improvement initiatives , RCA & CAPA management Lead the creation of sustainability / innovation pipeline and drive such projects Develop a pipeline of value engineering projects to achieve targeted gross margins Keeping in sync with the importance of the role , it has been positioned strategically within the organization at a senior level. Broad requirements for the role are Leadership skills with structured thinking , having previous experience in managing teams Sound technical knowledge , fast learning , networking and researching skills , high energy levels , ability to meet defined targets Subject matter expertise and thought leadership in the field of packaging , supported by high industry credibility In - depth knowledge of different packaging categories , their manufacturing processes , and QMS Excellent Communication skills , both written and verbal with strong presentation skills - Ability to communicate across levels internally , with clients and manufacturing partners Excellent project management skills , complex problem - solving abilities , administrative and multi - tasking skills Masters in Packaging / Materials science / general sciences / MBA with 12 - 15 years of R&D / Packaging development experience in FMCG / pharmaceutical / Food industries Exposure to cross - functional team leadership , procurement or other commercial roles would be added advantages Through the Head Packaging Development role , you have the opportunity to work with Indias leading B2B venture , and to be part of a dynamic start - up with some of the most enthusiastic , hardworking and intelligent people in a fast - paced and electrifying environment.
