We evaluate credit risk transactions and approve, reject, or modify them based on their overall risk profile together with the availability and appropriateness of arrangements for reducing or mitigating credit risk. We assign Internal Credit Ratings which quantify the level of risk; establish and manage credit risk limits in accordance with the risk tolerance established by the Board; and monitor and report on credit risk exposures on a regular basis to the Chief Risk Officer and senior management.
