Job Description

IT is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions, information and data related services to Reliance#s businesses and functions. The effective use of technology underpins Reliances ability to acquire and maintain our competitive advantage.An IT incumbent is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of business technology, information and related services to Reliance#s businessesHe/she will be expected to be a part of IT function#s transformational journey in moving towards a function that systematically enables business objectives, and drives the identification and adoption of game-changing, value-adding technologies.The Voice support engineer is responsible for managing, administrating, and implementing VoIP and TDM consulting engagement .The primary focus of this position to support VoIP installation of Cisco & Avaya Voice Network. Engineers should also frequently communicate with the people in charge of Voice Technology to devise plans based on the need of Organisation.Engineer is responsible for task such as operating, maintaining and troubleshooting voice communication systems.Job Accountabilities

    1. To manage Voice Communication Service across RIL Offices
    1. Service Availability, Planning, Customer Satisfaction, to provide effective, proactive technical support
    1. Comprehensive knowledge of Cisco Unified Communication Manager (CUCM) 9.1.2/10.X/11.X and Voice Technologies Avaya Call Manager, Avaya Media Server, Avaya Media Gateway
    1. Good Hands-on Cisco UCS Server, Cisco Unified Applications, Cisco ISR Gateways
    1. Sound knowledge of E1 , FXO , FXS Configuration PVDM resources
    1. Good understanding of H.323 & MGCP protocols
    1. Good knowledge of Call Centre setup to support various Helpdesk
    1. Good knowledge of Contact Centre Report structures
    1. Knowledge of Ameyo Contact Centre Set up will be an added advantage
    1. Understanding of TRAI regulatory will be an added advantage
    1. Responsible for design, staging, configuration, implementation, and support for VoIP installations as necessary
    1. Experience with Call Manager Migrations
    1. Good knowledge of CUBE configuration and SIP trunking with Ecosystems
    1. Ensure the stability and integrity of Voice Network Services.
    1. Proficient in technical and non-technical communication, both in Oral & Written
    1. Excellent problem solving, analytical and logical skills
    1. Optimistic towards achieving desired goalsSkills Required (Knowledge and Skills)
    1. Knowledge on SIP Call flow
    1. Excellent working Knowledge of Real-Time Transport (RTP) Protocol
    1. Good practical experience on troubleshooting in VoIP
    1. Basic knowledge in Networking
    2. Good analytical skills
    1. Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)
  • Engineering in /Electronics & Telecommunication/Electronics/Computer Science Graduate
  • Voice Certifications like CCNA Collaboration would be an added advantage
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Knowledgeable in Cisco CUCM, Avaya and PBX technology
  • Experience in handling MGCP , SIP gateways
  • Experience in interpreting CDRs
