*India Corporate Affairs Professional, Manager/Director OverviewMorgan Stanley is recruiting for a Manager/Director role within the Corporate Affairs function, to be based in Mumbai, India. Reporting to the India head of Corporate Affairs, and working closely with the India, regional and global team, this individual will help develop and lead the execution of the Firm s Corporate Affairs strategy in India, supporting Morgan Stanley s India businesses, as well as the Firm s Global In-House Centers (GICs) based in Mumbai and Bengaluru.Morgan Stanley is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services. A philosophy that balances personal lifestyles, perspectives and needs is an important part of our culture.ResponsibilitiesThe individual will help develop and execute our India communications strategy and plans, focusing on external communication and media relations, Community Affairs/CSR and internal communications and employer branding.External Communications Provide guidance, solutions, and day-to-day support for raising the external awareness of our employer brand and supporting the firm s recruitment campaigns Support in managing the PR agency relationship for execution of key priorities and media strategy for the various businesses Ensure brand consistency and governance structure for internal and external communications Work closely with Marketing to create content for the Firm s public website and social media platformsCommunity Affairs/CSR Work with the team to develop and execute the Firm s India 2% CSR program strategy Co-ordinate and manage the Firm s relationships with its charity partners Co-ordinate with CSR advisory agency to enable implementation and execution of India 2% CSR programs Step up CSR communications internally and externally and support potential new programsInternal Communications Provide guidance, solutions, and day-to-day support to India firm management and GIC management and other internal clients on internal communications strategies Strengthen employer branding (e.g. enhancing employee value proposition, workplace culture and values, employee content strategy) Create and publish regular India e-newsletters Coordinate communications among employee networks/committees, BUs and GICs and be the go-to person for day-to-day communications reviews, *Qualifications and Required SkillsThe ideal candidate will have the following professional experience and personal qualities: BA/BS and 8+ years of experience in internal communications, CSR and/or media relations Experience in and good knowledge of the banking/financial services industry, with global/regional exposure Excellent English oral and written communication skills (for content across various communications styles and channels) Strong interpersonal skills Proactive, analytical, and customer service oriented with an ability to work across various corporate, non-profit and public audiences Professional and able to work with integrity, respect, and confidentiality at all times Strong project planning and organizational skills; attention to detail a must Ability to work independently and as part of a team, making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment Knowledge or interest in impact measurement, program evaluation and reporting Self-starter, resourceful, and a team player with ability to multi-task Willing to do administrative work related to the role Desire to learn and grow in the role
