This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The Role Responsibilities:The Group Web & Social Channels team is a Centre of Excellence for the Group digital channels, providing best-in-class advisory and training to digital content creators, publishers and agencies. The team is responsible for managing the global websites and social media channels to build the Bank s brand among key audiences and managing reputational risk.The Director, Group Web & Digital Projects is responsible for leading website related projects including setting the strategy, standards and provide advice for best in class content creation and publishing on Standard Chartered s non-retail websites, managing core enhancements to the web portfolio in line with the overall strategy as well as supporting martech projects. It is a highly strategic role, using a data-led approach for strategy setting and continuous improvement, ensuring content is fit for purpose, aligned to our strategy and delivering business outcomes.Fixed term contract, 15 -12 monthsAccountable for driving the business strategy of key website and digital projects within the Group Digital Channels team. These include:

  • Non-retail and corporate websites maintenance and enhancements
  • Responsible for developing the business and communications strategy for the Bank s non-retail websites, liaising with country CABM and relevant business teams
  • Ensure the non-retail websites are fit for purpose, setting and meeting high standards of content accuracy, design, accessibility and user experience
  • Active member in the non-retail website investment project and core enhancement project owning the strategic direction and ensuring that best practice UX and navigation principles are implemented across the non-retail sites.
  • Manage the development of new features on the non-retail websites and corporate site with multiple digital agencies, from scoping requirements with stakeholders, though to managing sprint planning, testing and deployment
  • On-going collaboration and advisory with CABM country/regional content owners and agencies to ensure content is accurate, up to date and fit for purpose.
  • Manage SEO and digital agencies to improve the visibility of the sites in search
  • Define and set measurable website goals and interpret data to maximise the impact of the Bank s digital content on the non-retail websites
  • Translate the group web strategy into standards, governance protocols and ways of working for the non-retail websites
  • Keep abreast of developments, best practice and vendors in digital communications
  • Develop close working relationships within CABM and with technical teams, customer care teams, and the business segments
  • Develop SEO standards and analytics implementation across these new sites
  • Work with technology team to onboard, train and support CMS users
  • Manage phased project work with agencies attend daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and planning sessions
  • Prioritise work across the year to ensure project objectives are met this includes SEO, UI / UX, usability, accessibility, CRO and CMS improvements as well as bug fixes
Accountable for
  • The standards and governance of the Bank s non-retail websites ensuring they are fit for purpose, user friendly with relevant content to engage key target audiences
Requirements:
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in business strategy of key website and digital projects
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, and ability to interact at all levels across an organisation
  • Ability to multitask and ensure that all key priorities are delivered as per agreed timelines
