Job Description

  • Person will act as a product owner and will be responsible for Reconciliation program for Middle Office for exceptions management, Regulatory reporting, cross LOBs metrics and projects and building the culture of Continuous Improvement supporting business across DCO, Middle offices as well as Global teams.
  • The individual will be interacting with multiple operations teams within the organization to (re)design reconciliation process if required.
  • The individual will lead the following teams, for which the key roles and responsibilities are
  • iRECs & MIS Product Owner and BoW Prioritization
Inter-entity Reconciliation:
  • Liaise with x-asset team to understand their reconciliation requirements to build BoW items for the iRecs/iRecs Lite
  • Lead the prioritization for x-asset and regulatory items and work closely with technology to get the items delivered
  • Work closely with regulatory reporting in coordination with the global projects team and DCO MIS team for compliance with Dodd Frank, EMIR, and other regulations
  • Improving controls in the process & ensure 100% accuracy and compliance to Regulatory rules
  • Manage any new analysis requirements across multiple stakeholders
  • Regular update to senior management on regulatory reporting changes, compliance, projects updates and issues
  • Stakeholder Management Daily in terms of status updates, performance, feedback etc.
Qualifications
  • CA/ MBA with 6-7 years / Graduate or Post-Graduate with 9-10 years experience in operations.
  • Familiarity with a global banks process & operational environment including management and external reporting is a must. Strong business knowledge i.e. Investment Banking, including OTC product, process and system knowledge.

  1. Deal with day-to-day issues as well as planning and executing projects / initiatives
  2. Ensuring the teams activities support Operations in attaining its strategic goals
  3. Excellent attention to detail, and an ability to know when a deep-dive approach is appropriate
  • Ability to drive results through a hands-on approach
  • Ability to manage a team of high achievers with diverse experience and skill sets. Successful in team environments with matrix reporting structures
  • Skilled in identifying talent, recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and developing team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and adept at communicating with all levels of the business and technical parts of the organization
  • Skilled in MS office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access and Project
  • Can operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, and can prioritize ones own work to achieve them
  • Flexibility to work global hours and willing to travel globally, if needed
