Job Description

We are looking for a Big Data Solution Architect who will work on analysing ,prototyping ,design and evalauting existing/newer applications. The primary focus will be on choosing an optimal solutions can be used for buiding distributed scalable systems for huge volume of data.Responsibilities

    • Should have strong working experience in architecting and developing distributed and scalable ssytems.
    • Ability to protoytpe ,benchmark , analyse system performances ,bottlenecks and propose solutions for existing/newer systems.
    • To be able to continously evaluate andclearly articulate pros and cons of various technologies and platforms.
    • Should posses knowledge in architecting micro services which can be easily scaled and deployed across multiple environments.
    • To be able to document and demonstrate use cases, solutions and recommendations.
    • To be able to faciliate product and project managers in the design, planning and governance of implementing projects of any kind.
    • To be able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
    • Should be able to work in cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment.
Skills and Qualifications
    • Should have knowledge and hands on working experience in building data lake solutions like Vertica , HDFS
    • Defining data retention policies and ensure security through its complete life cycle.
    • Should have the strong working experience of linux fundamentals.
    • Should have strong working experience with various messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ , Redis pub/sub and ActiveMQ.
    • Should have strong working experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Vertica ,Cassandra, Aerospike, CrateDB ,ElasticSearch etc.
    • Should have strong working experience in any of the distributed message processing systems lik Hadoop , Spark , Storm , Flink.
    • Should have the exposure to data warehouse solutions like Hive , Pig and Drill.
    • Should have good knowledge and hands on experience in any of the cloud environments like Amazon Web Service , Google Cloud Platforms.
