Job Description

The Business Function:JPMorgan Asset Management (Europe) Sarl has a dedicated group called Distribution Governance which forms part of the JPMAME AML Marketing and Distribution team reporting to the Conducting Officer responsible for Distribution and Onboarding. Amongst a broad range of responsibilities for oversight of delegated activities, the team is in charge of the coordination of key governance meetings and ongoing reporting in relation to AML/CFT activities for team and senior management audience. (AML Committee, Management Committee, ManCo and Funds Boards, etc). The team uses a variety of internal systems and external data feeds and data environments. Responsibilities:The responsibilities of the candidate(s) can be grouped in two main areas, i.e. Data/MI/Report production and Reconciliation/Oversight of data and data quality assurance. In detail, this means: Data/MI/Report production:

  • Extracting of MIS from various sources
  • Providing support to the Luxembourg team s business requirements in the provision of management reporting
  • Designing, developing, and supporting current and new reporting/processes
  • Collecting, parsing, managing and analysing large sets of shareholder/intermediary related data to support the oversight and reporting mission of the team.
  • Analysis, aggregation and presentation of data sets using Microsoft Office applications
  • Creation of clear, accurate reporting for review by business owners
  • Supporting Luxembourg team with data requests ensuring they have the required information and correct data
Reconciliation/Oversight and Quality Assurance:
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly reconciliation of data/systems where required, identification of discrepancies and items for clarification and follow up by business teams
  • Creating and enhancing data solutions enabling seamless delivery of data.
  • Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes.
  • Evaluate and support opportunities and tools for data validation and cleansing.
  • Participate in establishing a governance process for AML data and ongoing reporting improvements.
Qualifications:
  • 6 years business analysis experience.
  • Bachelor s degree required
  • Intermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
  • High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders and develop partnerships across the business.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including an ability to articulate issues that need to be addressed or escalated at a level appropriate and intelligible to the recipient.
  • Pro-active attitude with both the ability to work well both independently as well as a team player
  • Ability to work well with a geographically dispersed group of professionals
  • Ability to interpret procedures with precision, whilst seeking opportunities to further increase efficiencies
Hiring Criteria / Specific candidate(s) profile required:
  • Have a passion for solving complex system and data challenges and desire to work in a constantly innovating and changing environment.
  • Have strong numerical abilities and be able to communicate complex information in an easy-to-follow way.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills - especially advanced skills in Excel (e.g. formulas, pivots, macros) and advanced / intermediate skills in PowerPoint
  • Have experience interfacing with business users and having the capability of interpreting their requirements.
  • Have a high degree of attention to detail. It is vital for the data analysts to be precise in the work to spot errors and to ensure that any problems are corrected for accurate results.
