Job Description

FUNCTION: The Employee Relations team is part of the Total Rewards, Conduct and Policy organization within HR that focuses on enhancing the employee experience and developing best in class people practices firm wide. The team helps set and implement a global vision, strategy, operating model to better understand and respond to employee needs and concerns; as well deliver exceptional employee experience. This includes partnership with the business, function, and HR leaders on an in-depth review of feedback, culture & conduct, employee experience aspects of regulatory-related deliverables. Overall, this organization spans the traditional HR lifecycle, employee engagement and broader listening strategy. RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Part of a team of experienced Employee Relations (ER) professionals responsible for providing employee relations advisory, Guidance and case management of performance and non-code of conduct related matters inclusive of Performance below standards, Performance behaviors, Procedure failure, Managerial performance issue, employee conflicts, policy violations, legal litigation matter and other time sensitive cases that includes executive office complaints and escalations.
    • Responsible for reviewing the cases to determine appropriate outcomes, advise on progression basis the through review of documentation, supporting evidence review and partner with control partners, Legal to support the disposition of the case.
    • Ensure the case management documents meet the highest quality standards and adherence to case management timelines and system requirements;
    • Support ER leadership on implementing key regional/country wide projects around case management, Simplification and Automation, build strong governance, policy and control;
    • Partner with ER leadership in analyzing and providing insights to senior leaders and HR stakeholders on areas of focus and emerging trends, to enable proactive interventions within the organization;
    • Partner with ER leadership, as appropriate, globally to understand regional differences and requirements;
    • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and refinement of services;
    • Demonstrate expected behaviors, as well as, identify and escalate issues in a timely manner;
    • Deliver a trusted ER brand known to employees and managers as a place where their voices are heard and acted on accordingly;
    • Deliver a first class experience to all employees, stakeholders and control partners through effective collaboration and communication;
    • Participate in various risk and control initiative, including assisting with regulatory responses on employee conduct matters;
    • Conduct and participate in the ER aspects of organizational audits, transactions and RFPs.
    SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
    • Strong knowledge or experience in case management related to unsatisfactory performance, unauthorized leaves, redundancy management, background screening and other HR policy violations;
    • Demonstrated success in building strong relationships and trusted advisor status across Legal, GIRE, Compliance, Global Security, and with Human Resources colleagues;
    • Knowledge of ER practices, Legal procedures, Legal drafting, Labor Laws and policies;
    • Impeccable judgment and discretion
    • Strong stakeholder experience employees, managers, partners;
    • Actively challenges the status quo and acts as a catalyst for change by decisively adopting innovative ways of working, driving continuous improvement;
    • Identifies and understands business trends to improve culture and mitigate risk;
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
    • Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities;
    • Disciplined and drives for results; actively applies feedback from key stakeholders;
    • Strong consulting/problem resolution experience with demonstrated ability to influence all employee levels from front line to senior leaders;
    • Demonstrates expected risk/controls behaviors by holding self and others accountable to operate within established standards and procedures;
    • Expert Microsoft Office suite skills; able to develop macros/VBA and perform advanced data cleansing tasks in excel and automate PowerPoint presentations with embedded elements
