Job Description

Primary Objective of positionEnsuring the sales team meets its goals of efficiency and customer satisfaction.To achieve sales and profitability goals and maximise customer satisfaction by booking group business within the assigned market segment.Responsibilities and Duties:1. To achieve budgeted goals by executing sales activities within assigned market segment.2.To review individual goals on a bi-annual basis, to recomment and take appropriate actions to achieve in key result areas3. To utilise effective sales techniques and to solicit files on a timely basis to confirm business4.To utilise outside sales calls to solicit exixting and new clients5.To contact inhouse customers to foster additional business, repeat bookings, or referrals to other Taj Hotels.6.To communicate Clients request to all departments in an effective and timely manner.7.To ensure maximum occupancy on a dialy basis by performing follow ups on progress of groups booked with Front Office8.To Prepare reports as necessary to develop[e a more informative data base for improved managemnet decisions making and critical evaluation of work activities.9.To keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unsual matters of signoficance.10. To perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner,in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.11. To maintain a favourable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a co-operative and harmonious working climate.12. At all times to project a favourable image of Taj Hotel & Convention Centre, Goa to the public.,

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the required Field.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Master in Business Administration, Management , Marketing or Equivalent.
  • Preferably Managers specializing in sales- Corporate or Equivalent.
