Job Description

Key Responsibilities a. Cost effective and timely Procurement of Capital Goods. b. Project monitoring. c. Global Sourcing Vendor Development. d. Manage Logistics. e. Timely Payment to Suppliers. f. Customer Satisfaction. g. Exim benefits related to Capital Goods. Job Description 1.To generate RFQ 2.Float Inquiries to get the offers 3. Understand technical specifications 4.Prepare techno-Commercial comparison. 5.Deployment of negotiation strategies (for Eg. Benchmarking / Should costing) 6.Prepare detailed Purchase contract / PO with technical specifications of the machine / project, acceptance criterion, QAP and other terms and conditions. 7.Creation of Item code in LN, Track Payments and EPCG License 8.Get the Gantt chart from the supplier and review the progress at suppliers end regularly so as the get the equipment on time. 9.Arrange the trials at suppliers end to approve the machine as per QAP. 10.Manage logistics and prepare strategy for the delivery of the equipment on time. 11. Arrange for the installation, commissioning and training 12. Coordinate with E E and Construction divisions for various approvals and training to their engineers 13.Coordinate with division and excise department to get installation certificate as per EPCG requirement 14.Timely payments to suppliers 15.To ensure post installation service and support from supplier 16. Prepare cash flow statement for capital goods periodically 17. Keep himself updated on the duty and tax structures 18.Select environmental friendly products and equipment. 19.Update procurement reports regularly ( For eg CAPEX dashboard ) 20. Ensuring receipts / NO ITRs / system cleaning 21.Maintain weekly data for all project files in Milestone format for analysis Qualification Details Essential Qualification: Degree in Engineering Essential Experience: 2 years of experience Special Skill Essential : a.Communication skills b.Interpersonal skills c.Process orientation d.Negotiation skills e.Analytical skills ,
