Job Description

  • Base level understanding of social data
  • Base level understanding of search data
  • Base level understanding of Market Intelligence data
TOOLS:
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office; PowerPoint, Excel and Skype
  • Ability to use Brandwatch and (Boolean Operators)
  • Ability to use Keyword Planner
  • Ability to use Mintel GNPD
  • Ability to use Nielsen databases
GENERAL:
  • Analytical mindset & ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights
  • Ability to develop understanding of different product categories to feed into Summaries and Deep-Dive analyses
  • Ability to follow a defined process and given instructions
  • Language capabilities analysts should ideally be native speakers, and be able to understand slang, cultural nuances and subtleties of respective language
    • e.g. Candidate should be able to understand that Tiger tail is an orange-flavoured ice cream with black licorice swirl, which is named for its resemblance to orange and black tiger stripes. They should not confuse this for the appendage of an animal while parsing a tweet.
  • Engage with client stakeholders occasionally on phone calls/meetings for discussions
Own & Deliver against 5x Trend Areas
  • Provide a summary of Trend Monitor changes to guide the Quarterly Summary Meeting and articulate over a call to on-shore PDC counterpart
  • Produce Deep-Dive Reports for interest trends that come out of the Quarterly Summary Meeting (using Brandwatch, Keyword Planner, Mintel, Nielsen and Desktop Research)
  • Make tweaks/changes to Deep-Dive Reports
  • Identify new trends for the Trends Bank (using Brandwatch, Keyword Planner, Trends Repository tool (TBC) and Desktop Research)
  • Maintain Trend Area Brandwatch queries
