Analytics ExecutivePurpose of the JobBroad objective of the roleDevelop predictive models on data and conduct hypothesis testing to derive insights across a range of business requirements in order to help the organization make informed decisions.Key Responsibilities- Work with stakeholders to understand the business requirements.- Collate all the required data from multiple sources. Work with the data warehousing team to ensure all the required fields of data are available.- Perform data cleaning, missing value treatment and data transformation to ensure the data set is ready to be used.- Review the data to identify potential features which will improve the analysis and derive new features from the existing ones.- Conduct data profiling and exploratory data analysis to understand the relationship between various features in order to gauge their impact on the model.- Prepare visual representation of the data to identify hidden patterns.- Use descriptive, prescriptive or predictive modelling techniques in line with the project objective to derive insights.- Run multiple iterations to identify the best suited model for the desired outcome.- Use machine learning to improve the model.Production & Documentation30%- Measure accuracy of the model on test datasets to check for overfitting. Fine tune the model to reduce overfitting and to ensure it is generalized on wider data sets.- Apply the model on monthly data to provide regular insights to the business.- Document details of the projects and the models for future reference.- Assess and consider all kinds of risk to review and make informed decisions around new initiatives or responses to situations.- Actionable analysis/ trends- Accuracy of insights- Timely execution of projectsCapability Enhancement10%- Stay up to date with the latest machine learning and AI advancements.- Test and apply new methods on the models to improve efficiency.- Utilization of advanced analytical techniques
