Job Profile Job Code : PBL01 Job Title : Air Cargo - Custom Clearance Location : Mumbai No. of Position : 1 Qualification : Preferaby Graduate, Category G Pass Holder or Rule 8 under CHA regulation Exp in Years : 5+ yrs Salary Range (lacs p.a.) : 0-6 lacs p.a Personal Responsibility (Scope / Profile of Position) Facilitate Import & Export Customs Clearance of shipments in Lemuir network. Ensure that the lodging, classifying and compiling of entries is completed in a timely and accurate manner for inbound & outbound shipments, in compliance with Customs regulations Active involvement in managing & growing Customs Clearance Services Support in terms of approvals for shipments arriving at BDB, BKC, Air Cargo Functions / Day to Day Activities: Responsibilities : Customs Clearance Management Sell Customs Clearance as a service Ensure that entries are cleared in accordance with Customs compliance agreements Prioritise the clearance flow in order to achieve fastest transit time possible Maximize pre-clearances opportunity in accordance with established service guidelines. Ensure clearance authority held, and clearance is completed in accordance with the owner s instructions Ensure that correct lodgment declarations are made on behalf of customers, whilst satisfying the legislation set by Customs, regulatory laws and other regulatory agencies. Ensure accurate and up to date information is held on the customer database Representation & Liaison with Customs, Air Cargo Authorities Timely Billing & Collections Functional Responsibility in absence : Direct reportees for operations, reporting authority for decisions. Functional Relationships : External: All Customs Authorities across Mumbai Qualifications (Minimum) Preferably Graduate, Category G Pass Holder or Rule 8 under CHA regulation Computer Literacy Qualifications (Additional - Preferred) Diploma related to the trade Personal Attributes Required : Integrity Influencer Diplomacy Essential Skills : Interpersonal Relations Sound English Communication Skills Convincing Skills Analytical Skills Knowledge and Experience : (Years and Kind of exposure) : Sound Air Cargo Customs clearance knowledge with idea on valuable cargo clearances will be preferred. Experience in CHA Operations & CHA Sales and International freight environments Sound communications skills Knowledge of Gujarati language preferred Experience with CHA a will be an added advantage,
