Job Description

    As a Branch Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth for our retail branch. You will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales officers to achieve ambitious sales targets for a wide range of financial products and services, while ensuring exceptional customer service.Responsibilities:
    • Lead and Motivate Team:
      • Provide coaching and mentorship to your team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
      • Conduct training sessions to ensure your team is knowledgeable about all bank products and adept at identifying customer needs.
      • Motivate and inspire your team to achieve individual and branch sales targets.
    • Drive Business Growth:
      • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve branch targets for accounts, deposits, loans, and other banking products.
      • Identify and qualify new business leads within the branch catchment area.
      • Develop and nurture relationships with local businesses and community leaders to generate new opportunities.
    • Ensure Customer Satisfaction:
      • Oversee the delivery of exceptional customer service throughout the branch.
      • Work with your team to understand customer needs and recommend the most suitable financial products and services.
      • Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
    • Operational Excellence:
      • Monitor and maintain branch operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to all bank policies and regulations.
      • Oversee branch cash flow and implement strategies to minimize risk.
      • Contribute to branch profitability through cost control measures.
    Qualifications:
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Retail Banking Sales, preferably leading a team.
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business growth.
    • Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and bank-specific sales tools.
