Job descriptionAs an Order Management Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day operations by coordinating with clients and vendors to fulfill orders efficiently and effectively.You will be responsible for managing the entire order lifecycle, from receipt to delivery, while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
1. Order Processing: Receive, review, and process orders received from clients through various channels, including phone, email, and online platforms.
2. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing order status updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
3. Vendor Coordination: Liaise with vendors to confirm order details, coordinate pickup and delivery schedules, and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
4. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track stock availability, and coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure adequate supply to meet demand.
5. Order Fulfillment: Coordinate the dispatch of orders, arrange transportation logistics, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
6. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing orders to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of order details, shipment tracking information, and client/vendor communications using appropriate systems or software.
8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency gains, and customer service enhancements within the order management function.
