OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
  • Realisation of Project /Product Test in accordance with the testing procedure and delivery schedule
  • Manage autonomous team of serial test engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure that test engineers have clear and exhaustive understanding of the Acceptance Criteria.
  • Participate in a Hand Over process from Manufacturing
  • Manage on day to day basis the planning and workload in the testing workshop.
  • Ensure the test are carried out according to the Testing procedure and the result properly recorded.
  • Ensure the Tools and right Spare parts are available to the testing teams to carry out their activities.
  • Review and improve continuously the operational activities to ensure productivity targets are met.
  • Consolidate and well document Test Reports.
  • Implement and deploy methods and tools and best practices pointed out at transport level such as APSYS
  • Regularly consolidate and communicate on the project KPI s.
  • Manage Interface and perfect working relationship with: PrIM, Industrial Quality, Production Line Manager, Manufacturing EPU
  • Manager to achieve the testing KPI s.
  • Cascade the information to Testing Teams.
  • Manage disputes and day to day issues of his team.
  • Manage competencies matrix and development plan for his test engineer
  • Ensures T&C activities and operating areas comply with Site EHS requirements.
  • Reports Deviations, Near-misses and Accidents.
  • Demonstrates excellent EHS behaviour.
Qualifications & Skills:EDUCATION
  • B Tech in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with more than 9 years of experience

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
  1. Ability to read Electrical / Mechanical Schematics or Circuit design and analysis

  4. Safety Culture while working on High Voltages (25KV)
  5. Control system logic
  6. Ability to write new operational procedures
EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET
  • Testing of Metro rail
  • Testing & Commissioning of Metro rail/Electrical Locomotives
  • Rolling Stock
  • Auxiliary/Power converter used in IR.
  • Knowledge of Audit - ISO 9001:2015
  • Knowledge of Audit - IRIS
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English & Hindi language
  • IT Skills: MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
