JOB OBJECTIVE:Howrah South Point is looking for a Head of Human Resources to join friendly and dynamic team. The objective of the role is to ensure implementation of Human Resource policies and processes in Howrah South Point and ensure the organization is compliant with all regulatory requirements. This department is being established in the Organization currently and will require the resource person to lead with example bringing experience and learned practices to the table. The role is also expected to execute all transactional and transformational activities under the Human Resource domain including but not limited to recruitment, performance management, payroll, etc.ROLE OF THE DEPARTMENT:The Human Resource department is responsible for managing employee life cycle and to ensure seamless employee relations for successful functioning of the organization. The department owns and establishes all the Human Resource policies and processes. The department is responsible for maintaining employee database, address employee queries, explore and implement motivational and functional trainings and oversee all regulatory processes in the areas of Human Resources. The department shall also conduct any disciplinary action arising out of employee issues and grievances, and ensure employee well-being programs and policies are implemented.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Head of Human Resources is a key role responsible for driving all the HR policies, processes and practices in Howrah South Point The role holder is responsible for driving the organizations vision, mission and values, play a key role in employee communication and provide them with all the information from time to time The role holder is required to partner with the Governing Body members for effectively delivering results through people strategy in all HR domain of recruitment, HR Operations (payroll, exit, etc.) & performance management. The role holder is responsible for providing effective support without compromising compliance with policies, systems and procedures in all areas of human resources The Head will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment process including assessments, interviews, selection, etc. and ensure the right candidates are selected for the respective vacant roles The Head is responsible for launch and implementation of the performance management process in HSP and ensure the same is being implemented as per the timelines He/She will manage smooth execution of all the HR functions relating to hiring, contract renewals, appointments and separations as per HR policies. Ensure that adequate documentation is maintained for each of such activity He/She will ensure that appropriate channels for internal communication are in place and effectively used to communicate with and involve employees at all levelsHe/She will ensure that a complete set of HR policies are in place, covering all aspect of employment. Also, he/she will be responsible for acting like an ombudsman for all the policies and processes The role holder should be flexible in terms of working hours and should be able to support HSP at all required times The role holder may perform any ad-hoc activities on resource management, capacity building as per request from the Governing Body members Key Skills: YEARS OF EXP.
