Petrovault is Petrolink s next-generation Data Management, Visualization and Analytics platform for the Oil and Gas industry. Working in an Agile/DevOps environment, the candidate needs to provide the technical acumen to deliver a highly scalable industry-oriented product. They will also need proven experience in successful leadership and in building a competitive team.A Senior Technical Lead is responsible for developing high availability and a scalable platform that caters to various applications stacks. The Senior Tech Lead should have the ability to manage large teams in house as well remote. This includes ensuring the teams output is consistent and reliable and meets to timeliness objectives of the various projects. They will be able to drive projects forward with little to no supervision and communicate to stakeholders any issues or risks to delivery of set objectives.An ability to communicate progress and requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences is a must. The correct induvial will be highly driven and motivated to consistently and successfully meet new and demanding objectives of the team.Duties & Responsibilities:To bring in highly competent and performance-oriented development practices.Ensure team brings in best coding practices that is aligned to product requirement.Mentor developers of all seniorities and skillsets with deep technical inputs.Designing new software or modification/maintenance of existing software.Research on new technology or architectural paths and incline it to the company.Strict and clear documentation of designs, requirements and implementation.Support debugging/troubleshooting deployed software.Working closely with other teams and other staff (including but not limited to Product Manager, Operation, Tester etc.).Ability to self-engage stakeholders as required to drive projects ahead.Skills/Qualifications:Expertise in the C# programming language and the .NET Framework.Good experience in implementation of various design patterns.Good experience in handling Asynchronous process in multithreaded environment.A thorough understanding of OOPS and Database concepts and message ques like RabbitMQ.Experience in backend databases including one or more of the following; MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle and/or NoSQL databases particularly Cassandra or Hadoop.B Tech/MCA/M Tech in Computer Science or related field.10+ year s relevant experience.Good interpersonal skills.Ability to work with a large remote team or individually.Knowledge and experience working with Agile development methodologies.Candidate preferred skillsets:Experience in developing new solutions.Experience in Event Driven Programming and Message Queues.Experience in backend development and integration projects.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
